Design Story

The chipped, wrapped katana cuts the front panel corner to corner, with a smoke-dark ink sweep and violet-grey petal fragments breaking around it. Vertical brush characters reading Nozarashi anchor the right edge, while the left column carries the name Zaraki Kenpachi in fine sans caps beside vertical Japanese lettering and a small division seal. Behind it all, a pale tonal crest sits almost invisible, adding depth without competing. The palette stays restrained: ecru ground, sumi black, one muted violet accent. That discipline is what makes the composition read cleanly from across a room.
