Design Story

The composition is strictly symmetrical: a lunar triad crowns the panel, a planchette form anchors its centre, and two spectral figures mirror each other on either side, their hair dissolving into drifting smoke. Deep black ground does most of the work, letting the gold filigree frame read as light rather than ornament. Small candle flames, dark roses and skulls sit at the lower corners as counterweights, dense enough to ground the panel without crowding it. Typography closes the arrangement calmly \Uffffffff SEANCE in wide serif capitals, AT BLACK HOLLOW beneath, then a thin rule and the spaced words SUMMON, LINGER, BELONG.

Ambiance & Styling

On a scented candle, the artwork sits front-facing on the jar, its ornate border echoing the curve of the glass while the wooden-toned lid caps the composition and completes the vertical hierarchy. Clear glass around the label keeps the dark panel floating rather than heavy. As a tabletop accent it reads as a small framed object; boxed, it makes a composed gifting presentation.
