A floor composition built like a commemorative plate: symmetrical, framed, and deliberately still. Nothing moves here, and that is the point.

Design Story

The structure is strictly centered. An oval emblem carrying a gilded shamrock sits at the optical center, brightest element against a deep green and near-black field. Below it, an arena interior opens in perspective, the pale hardwood court reading as the only warm plane in the composition and pulling the eye downward in a slow vertical drop. A skyline silhouette threads across the upper third, softening the transition between emblem and sky. Around all of it, an ornate gold border with scrollwork, four basketball roundels at the corners and a ribboned banner reading EST. 1946 closes the frame. Arched lettering above, banner below: the hierarchy is classical, almost heraldic. Contrast does the work, gold against darkness, with restraint rather than motion.

Room & Styling

As a rug, the centered medallion holds the middle of a seating arrangement, where the emblem stays visible and the border defines the edge of the floor zone. Viewed from standing height, the perspective court reads clearly; the dark field lets furniture sit against it without competing.
