Design Story

The werewolf sits dead center, shoulders forward, claws hooked over the stone rim as if breaking the picture plane. Amber eyes and bared fangs carry the focal weight against a cold blue-grey palette, with the full moon acting as a secondary highlight directly above the head. The border does real work here: sculpted wolf-head medallions at top and bottom, chain links, guttering candle flames and scattered crimson maple leaves ring the scene and resolve the outer edge. Warm ember accents punctuate the cool tonal field, creating rhythm around the full circumference.

Room & Styling

As a round rug, the medallion structure reads correctly from every approach angle, and the dark outer band frames the artwork cleanly against pale flooring. Best given breathing room: an open entryway, a reading corner, or centered in front of a low seat where the full composition stays visible.
