The eye lands on the gold before anything else. A bridge emblem sits high on the right chest, a circular badge reading 7 CHAMPIONSHIPS balances it on the left, and everything between them stays deep, unbroken navy.
Design Story
This is a composition built on restraint. The dark navy field does the heavy lifting, letting thin gold lines trace the front closure, the pocket openings and the hem band like drawn contour. Quilted shoulder panels break the upper silhouette into segments, while three gold stripes on the sleeve echo the ribbed cuff. A small GOLDEN STATE tab near the hem finishes the layout the way a caption finishes a photograph. Two colors, several marks, no noise.
Layering & Wear
As outerwear, the graphic placement follows the jacket's own architecture. Badges sit where the front panels are widest, so both read clearly from across a room. The gold piping traces the shoulder line and sleeve seam, giving the silhouette definition when worn open or closed. Over dark denim, as here, it works as the visual anchor of the outfit rather than a supporting layer.
