The eye lands on the lettering first. CHICAGO stacked over BULLS, arched across the chest in collegiate block type, red over black, framed by cream piping that catches the stadium light.
Design Story
This is color blocking with intent. Red shoulders fall into black body panels, split by a diagonal seam that keeps the composition moving even while the wearer stands still. Cream stripes wrap the sleeves and ribbed hem, giving the silhouette its rhythm. Look lower and a basketball key is drawn in thin outline across the front panel, a quiet architectural detail under the loud typography. The season year sits on one side, the record 72-10 on the other, balanced like a scoreboard. A bull emblem anchors the upper sleeve. Nothing here is shouting. It is simply certain of itself.
Layering & Wear
As outerwear, the graphic works because the jacket gives it room. The chest becomes the headline, the sleeves carry the striping, and the color blocking follows the natural shoulder and panel lines rather than fighting them. Worn open over a dark hoodie, as shown, the contrast reads clearly from across a field.
